We can classify them into the following types: 

 -Ferrous metals:metals that contain iron.

 -Pure iron.

 -Steel

-Cast iron

    -Non-ferrous metals: metals that don´t contain iron

-Light and Ultra-light metals.

-Aluminium
-Titanium

     -Heavy metals.

-Lead
-tin
-zinc
-copper
-bronze (copper + tin )
-brass (copper + zinc)
